O ur guest speaker for Tuesday October 3, 2006, is Chris Greenwood. He will be speaking on "What's New For 2007". Chris is one of the most knowledgeable people about roses in the nation.
Some of his accomplishments are as follows:
- Chris has a BS degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly Pomona
- He is an Accredited Rose Judge. Judge for the International Rose Trials in Whittier.
Consulting Rosarian - He is an Amateur Rose Hybridizer—he hybridized Crowd Pleaser that is currently in commerce
- Head Rosarian for Armstrong Garden Centers
- Curator of Roses for the "Christopher W. Greenwood Rose Walk of Fame" and All-America Rose Selection Test Garden in Carlsbad, California
